congratulations brad! love and bestest wishes to you and your bride-to-be...

and ami, if you must fall for independent-minded ditzy hippies then what do you expect?!?

(oh - puzzle: take 1 coin from bag 1, 2 from bag 2 etc up to 10 from bag 10. Weigh the whole lot and you can work out how many coins were fakes. work out how many coins were fakes and you know which bag they came from. If you want a wordier and better explanation get simon to post his be-all-end-all solution...)

No, dat ain't one measurement. Like one measurement is where you read the scales once. Thinking along the right lines though.

Tell me the weather's bad in cape town Ami - I chose to stay in the youkay for summer and its rained all feckin week.

okay guys i'm back. lord only knows what possessed me to reenter this cesspool of mindnumbing trash. ah well...

try pornolizing http://flat302.blogspot.com - see if you can tell the difference (tony the image link ees kaput on that page)

puzzle: you've got 10 bags of gold, each containing 10 coins. 1 bag contains fake coins. The real coins weigh 10g each, the fakes 9g. You have some digital scales with enough battery power for only 1 weight measurement (okay su yen told me this so don't hassle me about plausibility). If you can tell which bag contains the fakes with only 1 measurement you get the rest!
